    Job Summary

At Know Labs, our mission is to revolutionize healthcare by building the first FDA-cleared non-invasive glucose monitor. We are dedicated to empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being. Our cutting-edge technology aims to provide users with accurate and real-time insights into their glucose levels, enabling them to make informed decisions about their health.

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Team. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the software team lead. You will lead and execute software development and compliance efforts to improve our R&D and consumer software ecosystems. You will design, build, and launch backend and frontend software to support data collection and algorithm development and accelerate our road toward FDA clearance and commercialization. Your work will involve cross-functional collaboration across the entire organization, including Data Science, Clinical Research Operations, and Hardware teams.

    What You Will Do

    Software Development

    • Build software tools and services to enable clinical data collection at Know Labs and study partner sites, and to fuel algorithm development.
    • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Operations team to appropriately align software development with clinical study timelines.
    • Collaborate with the Know Labs Data Science team to ensure all datasets are available, organized, managed appropriately, and usable.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Data Engineer to improve, maintain, and execute the Know Labs software roadmap.
    • Build high-quality scalable software for cloud/back-end and front-end infrastructure and data processing using tools and coding languages like Python, AWS, and SQL.
    • Support the development of our mobile application and KnowU firmware by collaborating with our software partners using tools like Flutter, SWIFT, Micropython, and C.
    • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and modern software development methodologies.

    Compliance

    • Create, source feedback for, maintain, and execute the compliance and regulatory roadmap as the main driver of the Know Labs road towards software compliance.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Data Engineer and company leaders to align with departmental compliance objectives and workstreams.
    • Collaborate with external partners to ensure Know Labs follows compliance, privacy and security regulations.

We Would Love to Have You on Our Team If You Have

We value your attitude and aptitude more than the specific tools and technologies you have worked with before. The most essential requirements are a passion for software development and a desire to impact people's lives positively.
