- 13-Week Contract
- 8-hour Shifts
- 7am-3pm
- Every other weekend
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, specimen collection processing, and basic life support
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and selfcare techniques
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Proficiency in critical care procedures and techniques
- Experience in laboratory work, including specimen collection processing
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Ability to provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Familiarity with dialysis procedures (preferred)
- Knowledge of sonography techniques (preferred)
- Proficient in venipuncture for blood draws
