    Sean Lorenz Description Coverent, an ORBIS company, is looking for a skilled Business Metrics and Resource Analyst to join our team supporting the US Intelligence Community
    The successful candidate will specialize in the analysis of business metrics and the management of resources to optimize performance and operational efficiency
    This position involves a significant amount of data analysis and strategic planning to support decision-making processes
    Key Responsibilities


    • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
    • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes.
    • Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
    • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities, and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential cost savings

    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role within the Intelligence Community.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • US Citizenship
    • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
    • Advanced knowledge in financial modeling techniques and statistical analysis.
    • Experience with budget management and resource allocation in a governmental or corporate setting.
    • Experience leading teams or data science projects.
    • Mastery of advanced analytic techniques, including data mining, regression analysis, predictive modeling, natural language processing, or machine learning.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
    • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
