    Under the direction of the General Manager, the Room Operations Manager (Assistant General Manager equivalent at larger properties) wdirects, manages, and ensures an exceptional guest experience in the areas of Guest Service, Housekeeping and Night Audit. Assists, when necessary, with oversight and problem resolution with other areas of the hotel including Food & Beverage, Guest Experience, Spa and Engineering.

    • li", ,"2", ,"true", ,"ulli", ,"1", ,"22", ,"Normal"]}">Guest Experience: Ensures all guest requests are accommodated expediently and courteously. Ensures all staff follows proper daily procedures and supports department and staff with all guest related activities focusing staff on guest engagement. Resolves and/or approves and directs the resolution of guest problems or complaints. Regularly monitors Revinate reports and shares information with staff for training or recognition. Manages the Return Guest and VIP services programs recommending changes and improvements as needed.
    • li", ,"2", ,"true", ,"ulli", ,"1", ,"22", ,"Normal"]}">Staff Supervision: Directly manages all aspects of the Guest Service Advisors, Porter and Housekeeping colleagues. Maintains guest visibility on the floor to ensure that staff supports guests when necessary. Maintains a professional leadership style and mentors all levels of staff while managing the day to day operations of the front office. Ensure high quality guest service through critical eye to ensure standards are met. Maintain a continuous presence with guests and staff to ensure guest/employee satisfaction. Manages timecards, hires, coaches, conducts performance reviews and approves schedule changes/time cards.

Works closely with each area to ensure all responsibilities are well executed. Resolves guest concerns. Identifies all areas of opportunity from a cleanliness and guest service opportunities from a Guest's perspective.
    • li", ,"2", ,"true", ,"ulli", ,"1", ,"22", ,"Normal"]}">Financial: Develops and manages departmental budget to meet or exceed budgetary objectives. Establishes and ensures procedures are followed including cash handling, regular and special billing and posting, establishing rate codes and monitoring credit limits and timely payment on accounts. Reviews/manages department daily payroll processes, reports and records, maintaining labor costs within forecasted budgetary guidelines. Implements and maintains consistent inventory of all supplies needed by staff and guests with in front office & rooms operation. Ensures all items are purchased, invoices and any payroll related documents are processed accurately and timely.

    Qualifications:

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSUL

    • 3-5 years of experience with prior knowledge of position/industry
    • Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
    • CPR/First Aid Certification

    Compensation:

    The base salary range for this position is $80,000-88,000.

    The wage range for this role may take into account factors for compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure or certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
