A Client/Employer in Memphis, TN is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their multi

• Billion dollar venture in Stanton, TN.

This engineer will be remote during the greenfield stage and required to travel to multiple sites to learn processes and procedures. Once the facility is complete they will be local to the Stanton facility.


Daily responsibilities:

Use MES Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up on automation project's and installationsTroubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems.

Lead 4D efforts with significant downtime eventsUpdate program backups for automationProgram new installations of tooling and conveyor systemsReprogram automation for engineering changes and improvementsCoordinate automation campaignsAutomotive backgroundBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering5 years of years in a controls engineering positionManufacturing backgroundMitsubishi PLC/HMI/VFD/SERVO/MOTION experience would be an asset but not mandatory.

Training will be provided. PLC/MBI, robotics programming experience. Strong problem solving skillsAbility to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and deliveryAbility to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematicsStrong understanding of conveyors system programming and, in addition to networking understanding, Ethernet, remote IOAbility to read blueprints
