As a Security Officer - Lobby Checkpoint in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing foot and vehicle traffic to appropriate areas.

Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries by coordinating with drivers, confirming appointment information, verifying shipping and/or receiving documentation, and reporting irregular activity per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location and shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
