Job summary
Provides general nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting or clinical practice.
- Performs various tasks within the scope of the LPN including but not limited to temperature taking, blood pressure measurement, pulse checking, respirations monitoring, vital sign recording head circumference measurement weight height hearing examination vision exams point of care testing medication administration spirometry procedures phone call triaging assessment teaching facilitation patient flow management pediatric vaccine schedule knowledge assistance administrative task completion such as answering phones completing prior authorizations abstracting data into EPIC updating medical record demographics following HIM processes completing school forms requests orientation for state vaccine program compliance with all aspects of program including patient eligibility screening administering vaccines review of allergies correct injection technique handling storage temperature logs temp guard monitoring protocols for ordering receiving transferring wasting vaccines adverse reactions age-specific cultural competence support for mission values goals organization behaviors consistent CCMC Standards ,
