- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, fluency, and voice skills using various evaluation methods.
- Analyze assessment results to determine students' eligibility for speech-language services and create personalized treatment plans.
- Lead virtual therapy sessions addressing communication disorders such as articulation, expressive language, and fluency.
- Adapt therapy materials and techniques to suit individual student needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and assistive technology.
- Provide support and guidance to teachers and parents on enhancing students' communication skills within the online learning setting.
- Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development sessions to promote collaboration and compliance with regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Arizona.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Prior experience as a speech-language pathologist, preferably in educational settings or teletherapy services.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology used in remote services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and professionals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- Clearances and background checks as required by school districts or employers.
