    Building Maintenance Technician at Arbors Management

    Location: Crafton, PA

    Salary: $24.00 per hour

    Arbors Management is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician for a Senior & Disabled independent living high-rise building in Crafton, PA. This is a full-time role where you can showcase your expertise in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, and groundskeeping. If you thrive on variety in your tasks and enjoy working collaboratively, this opportunity is for you.

    The Building Maintenance Technician role offers competitive pay at $24.00 per hour. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies alongside the maintenance team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely completion of apartment turnovers
    • Prioritize and address work orders promptly, especially emergency requests
    • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all grounds and common areas
    • Manage inventory for repairs and upkeep of maintenance shop
    • Foster positive relationships with vendors and contractors
    • Regular communication with Property Managers and Maintenance Director

    Required Skills:

    • Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and painting
    • Basic HVAC skills
    • Ability to manage trash compactor and dumpsters
    • Experience in groundskeeping and snow removal
    • Proficiency in using laptops and cell phones for daily tasks

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 3+ years of building maintenance experience
    • Physical capability to handle 60 lbs., bending, walking, climbing, etc.
    • Clear drug and background screening
    • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle
