Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and an understanding of financial principles, with a focus on multifamily real estate.

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis on multifamily properties, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

Evaluate property performance metrics such as occupancy rates, rental income, operating expenses, and capital expenditures to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports highlighting key findings, recommendations, and actionable insights.

Ability to evaluate market research and competitive analysis to assess market trends, rental rates, and property valuations, providing recommendations to optimize asset performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with property management teams, asset management, and accounting departments to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
Support investment analysis and due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing opportunities.
Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in multifamily real estate finance and property management.
Perform complex financial analysis, including cash flow projections and sensitivity analysis.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.2-3 years of work experience in financial analysis, preferably within the real estate or property management industry, accounting/finance preferred.

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial software (Yardi) is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts and recommendations to both financial and non-financial audiences.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Passion for real estate investment and property management, with a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
