- Provide specialized physical healthcare services as directed by the School Nurse (may include gastrostomy tube feeding, urinary catheterization, ostomy care, tracheotomy care, and/or respiratory care).
- Assist the School Nurse in developing student healthcare procedures and protocols.
- Assess student health needs and report concerns to the School Nurse.
- Collaborate with families, agencies, and school staff to ensure students receive appropriate care.
- Maintain accurate health records.
- Implement behavior management techniques and support a positive classroom environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the School Nurse and classroom teacher.
- Valid California Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
