Are you a Certified Audiologist eager to take on an assessment role?

We are in search of an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits evaluation process.

Before meeting with you, the Veteran initiates their claim. Their complete medical history is uploaded onto a secure digital platform, which you will have access to during the appointment. Your responsibilities will include administering a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, as well as filling out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) on the computer portal. This documentation serves as crucial medical evidence for the VA to determine the Veteran's benefits eligibility.

The Audiologist will not be involved in prescribing any medical treatments or devices.

In this role, you can expect to review and evaluate an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.

Schedule: Part-Time, 2-3 days per week from 8:30am to 4:30pm

This is an opportunity that requires your physical presence and offers dedicated time of 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. There are no late evenings, on-call duties, weekends, or involvement in hearing aid sales.

Requirements

• Seeking an Audiologist with an Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited institution.
• Must hold a valid license as an Audiologist.
• Compliance with credentialing standards specified by the VA.
