    Summary of Job Duties:

    Financial Aid Director is responsible for the awarding and disbursement of all federal, state, and institutional financial aid and scholarships from numerous individual programs. Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations through accurate reporting and auditing and resolves any issues related to auditors' findings. This person reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Student Services, keeping him/her abreast of all planning, organizing, and staff development of PCCUA's financial aid services and programs.


    Qualifications:

    • Master degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
    • Experience with student information systems and record management preferred.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs.
    • Ability to deal effectively with a diverse student body.
    • Experience with need analysis, counseling, and packaging aid.
    • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and objectives.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Provide excellent customer service skills.
