Position SummaryOdyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Senior Public Relations Specialist to support Space Systems Command (SSC).This is a full-time opportunity located in Los Angeles, CA.

Contingent upon contract awardResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:

Support future operations and long-term strategic planning efforts, managing multiple strategic events and functions that assist with Public Affairs Strategic Communication ActivitiesOffer ideas on how to and will work to leverage all available communication channels to execute communication campaigns across multiple platforms (conferences, in-office events, media relations, social media, website, articles, videos, etc.)Ensure synchronization and integration of all strategic message planning efforts between HQ USSF, SSC, and any other applicable partner organizations to support planning efforts that feed into larger enterprise-wide activitiesResearch, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on SSC activities, organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.

The contractor shall ensure products being released meet the intent of the customer and will be fact checked for accuracyEnsure all deliverable outcomes are suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholdersQualificationsMinimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship:
Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance, eligible for SCI and be able to maintain it

Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher Years' experience: At least 8 years of experience in related fieldunderstand organizational business strategy, projects, research and stories to forecast, plan, and craft both short and long-term integrated communication campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Years' of experience: Master's degree or higher and at least 10 years of demonstrated experinece in a related field

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
