    In this role, you'll be entrusted with full ownership of the region, steering the sales trajectory from initial prospecting to successful closures.     Your primary focus will be to seize control of the territory, spearheading sales and marketing initiatives. Elevate RTI's Quality Assurance (QA) test solutions for diagnostic X-ray systems to new heights as you engage with hospitals, imaging centers, in-house biomed/clinical engineering, field service engineers, and diagnostic physicists. As a motivated and disciplined professional, your ability to instill confidence, generate new sales, showcase RTI's diverse solutions through compelling demonstrations, and nurture existing customer relationships will be paramount to your success.     Job Location – Travel: IL, IN, MI, OH, WI, MO, IA, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS

    • The position reports to the VP Sales, RTI Group North America, Towaco, NJ.
    • The assigned territory covers the Midwestern U.S., requiring residence in a major metropolitan area.
    • Must reside within the territory, preferably Illinois in order to be centrally located
    • This is a Remote Outside Sales Position, operating from a professional home office setup.
    • The position does not entail direct reports
    • Primary call points include Biomedical and Clinical Engineering, Independent Service Organizations (ISOs), State Health Inspectors, and Diagnostic Medical Physicists.
    • Flexibility and a willingness to travel up to 50% are essential for success in this role.
    • A valid passport is required for potential onboarding activities in Sweden.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
    • Minimum three (3) plus years of documented sales success, exceeding sales quotas in an outside sales environment.
    • Proven experience in Business Development, focusing on generating new business, sales leads, and managing a sales pipeline for growth.
    • Solution/Technical sales expertise, with the ability to discuss and understand customer requirements and effectively position RTI's solutions.
    • Strong background in the healthcare industry, particularly selling to hospitals, biomedical/clinical engineering, and knowledge of medical imaging (Rad/Fluoro, CT, Mammography, Dental).
    • Unrestricted access to customer sites, including hospitals, and imaging centers. Covid vaccination may be required in all facilities.
    • Documented track record of exceeding sales quotas and building long-term customer relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively from a home office and travel within the assigned territory.
    • Strong desire to make an immediate impact and a commitment to bring skills up to speed.
    • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to diverse audiences, perform product demonstrations, and engage with decision-makers, engineers, management, physicists, and purchasing.
    • Proactive approach to creating and maintaining high levels of sales activity, managing KPIs.
    • Experience in managing, tracking, and reporting lead status to the field sales team and internal staff.
    • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
    • Effective multitasking, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in CRM, managing and monitoring the customer relationship management system, and ensuring compliance with field sales entries.
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
