    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role as a Human Resources Administrator. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day HR tasks, including benefits administration, HR management. They will also need knowledge of labor and employment law for compliance. The Human Resources Administrator will be located in San Diego, CA.

    Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    Essential function(s)

    Recruitment Support:

    Assist in posting job openings on various platforms.

    Assist with screening resumes and applications.

    Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.

    Coordinate with hiring managers for interview logistics.

    Administer candidate assessments.

    Employee Onboarding/Offboarding:

    Process new hire paperwork.

    Ensure new hires complete the necessary forms and documents.

    Order new hire equipment and maintain equipment tracking.

    Facilitate the return of equipment upon termination.

    Initiate offboarding workflow and remove access from systems.

    Administer Exit Interview survey.

    Assist with unemployment claims.

    Benefits Administration:

    Maintain accurate records of employee benefits participation.

    Assist with annual open enrollment presentation scheduling.

    Distribute correspondence of benefit information, changes, and events.

    Personnel Records Management:

    Maintain employee files and HR databases.

    Update and ensure the accuracy of employee records.

    Generate reports on HR metrics as needed.

    HR Policy Compliance:

    Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.

    Keep abreast of labor laws and regulations.

    Ensure compliance with employment laws in all HR processes.

    General Administrative Support:

    Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks.

    Assist with payroll

    Answer employee inquiries and provide timely responses.

    Being a part of / spearheading our Culture Committee

    Coordinating our monthly town hall meetings, and other company events.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) policies and practices
    • Experience in benefits administration
    • Ability to manage HR processes and systems
    • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Understanding of labor and employment law
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well in a team
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
