    Job Summary:


    The Facility Operations Supervisor is primarily responsible for performing and coordinating facility maintenance services to ensure optimal environments at all agency worksites.

    This person is also responsible for implementing agency-wide emergency preparedness and safety practices and works closely with the Director of Operations on special projects that improve agency facilities and capacity.


    Duties:

    • Coordinate regular maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, agency vehicle and internal systems (e.g., cleaning, waste/recycling services, office equipment, HVAC system, security systems).
    • Serve as a liaison with outside vendors to address operations and facility maintenance needs, including maintaining vendor bid and contract records per grant requirements.
    • Coordinate the agency's maintenance work order system, and work with site managers to ensure that maintenance needs are met and properly documented.
    • Perform minor maintenance work, landscaping, and repairs, as needed.
    • Coordinate the implementation of safety and emergency preparedness programs at agency sites, including leading the agency's internal Safety Committee and working with residential management to ensure successful completion of health inspections.
    • Provide administrative support for operations and agency improvement projects, as needed.
    • Document and track operations-related expenses and maintain physical asset inventories per grant requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate, Bachelor, or Vocational degree preferred.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
    • Ability to perform minor maintenance and repair work required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the facilities maintenance field.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
    • California ID or Driver's License required.
    • The state-mandated 40-hour domestic violence training will be provided and is required.

    Compensation:
