    At Horace Mann, we understand the importance of insuring the educational community. As an Inside Account Representative, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of educators and their families by offering them the best insurance coverage and support.

    Responsibilities:

    Engage with existing customers to provide exceptional service and build strong relationships
    Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for their auto and home
    Educate customers on policy features, benefits, and available options
    Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
    Meet and exceed sales targets through a combination of salary, commission, and bonuses
    Requirements:

    Must possess an active auto and home insurance license
    Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with customers
    Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations
    We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting salary of $35,000, as well as commission and bonus opportunities based on your performance.
