The Mammography Imaging Specialist is responsible for validating the physician order and documenting the patient history. They operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform mammographic and breast ultrasound procedures to obtain optimum quality images.Responsibilities
- Reviews patient's chart and results from previous mammographic procedures.
- Performs diagnostic procedures by adjusting, manipulating and controlling a variety of complex mammographic equipment.
