- We are seeking applicants with a record of working safely and experience as a heavy diesel mechanic. Individual needs to be able to work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic. Position will require travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on trucks, excavators, cranes, dozers, forklifts, rollers, etc. Including inspection, tire rotation, oil changes, and other services as needed.
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on vehicles, heavy duty trucks, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair or maintenance task performed on vehicles and equipment.
- Operate customary hand or power tools used for mechanical repairs.
- Previous Diesel Mechanic experience.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and good driver record.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat and maneuver around and under equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- ASE Diesel Certification a plus.
- Required education: High school or equivalent.
