    Job DescriptionRole

    As a CNC Lathe Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Lathe Technician), you'll set up, edit, and operate CNC lathes to produce finished parts. You'll develop manufacturing plans according to specifications, operate cranes and forklifts, and ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Experience in manual lathe programming is preferred.

    Qualifications
    • Proficiency in using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
    • Experience with setup and operation within a job shop environment.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to apply geometric and trig functions to solve machining calculations.
    • Knowledgeable of all machine functions as well as G & M codes to evaluate new programs.
    • Ability to read/interpret prints and understand geometric tolerances.
