Paralegal - Litigation - Santa Fe - Hall & Evans

Hall & Evans, LLC, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our personal injury and general litigation practice in our Downtown Santa Fe office.

This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for producing exemplary work in the best interest of our clients. Candidates should have an outstanding attitude, excellent MS Office skills, well-developed communication abilities, effectively managing multiple projects, and strong attention to detail. Qualifications for this position include an ABA Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor's or Associate's degree, and New Mexico civil litigation with trial experience with a defense firm, preferred.

This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office and 2 days/home) after successfully completing the training period.

Requirements

• Civil litigation with a defense firm, preferred;
• New Mexico civil litigation experience, preferred;
• Obtain, review and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records;
• Prepare medical record summaries;
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;
• Experience billing time;
• Well-developed writing and research skills;
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook;
• Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
• Anticipating attorney's needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions;
• Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team;
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people;
• Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor;
• High level of integrity and personal accountability;
• Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines;
• Excellent attendance and reliability;
• ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred;
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred, and;
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary.
