    Apex Systems is looking to hire an Environmental Control Systems Engineer for one of our top clients This will be a 1 year Contract to Hire with a Monday-Friday first shift schedule.

    Experience with Environmental Control SystemsUnderstanding of FAA Compliance and CertificationsStrong verbal communication (teamwork, problem escalation, etc.)

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryExperience with airplane Environmental Control Systems (5+ years)

    Responsibilities:

    This role will specifically support several Service Related Problems (SRPs) where the candidate will have the chance to dive into the performance of a specific ECS system or component and investigate and improve the in-service performanceWork within our clients Commercial Airplanes (BCA), produce, deliver and support customers who fly our clients airplanes with their cabin pressure control system (CPCS), cabin altitude warning system (CAWS), cabin air conditioning temperature control system (CACTCS) , and nitrogen generation system (NGS)Enable high aircraft performance while operating in compliance with regulatory (FAA, EASA, etc.) requirementsExercise strong project management skills to independently execute a variety of projects to completionInvestigate hands-on and through software tools the root causes of problems faced both during development and in-service by our customers who use our productsDevelop corrective action plans, design engineering testing, and analyze data to solve complex problems with CPCS, CAWS, CACTCS, and NGSCollaborate with other organizations such as Fleet Chief Office, Service Engineering, Flight Deck Crew Operations, Pilots, Electrical Systems, Systems Stress, Airline Customers, Factory and Flight Line Operations, Supply Chain, Airplane Safety and many othersWork directly with the primary suppliers who provide entire systems and components CPCS, CAWS, CACTCS, and NGS for our airplaneThis work includes resolving a variety of issues and leading improvement programsLearn about legacy development processes and certification Methods of Compliance while actively helping transition the client to leverage Model-Based Engineering (MBE)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology to write requirements, architect/size/validate/verify conceptual systemsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
