    Position Overview

    Nexus Water Group is seeking a Billing and Collections Analyst to support our Customer Service team, process, and balance payments for water/sewer service, and research customer billing problems. Maintain district files for all rate orders/ordinances, amendments, work papers, special calculation instructions, voluntary agreements, special monthly report generation, and special mailing invoices for each district assigned. Testing of Rate changes as new rates are changed. Operates the SAP billing system and ensures accurate billing.

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned:

  • Receives, evaluates, and answers customer inquiries (phone or correspondence) in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Processes service orders to the field, taking ownership of the customer inquiry to provide complete customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate adjustments to consumption and escalate to the manager to provide credit adjustments.
  • Make outbound calls to customers as necessary.
  • Works within established guidelines and policies.
