Using electronic system and portions of the record whichremain in paper form, assures the medical record is accurate andcomplete.
Demonstrates the ability to retrievethe medical record whether paper or electronic.
Demonstrates knowledge in the rules and regulationsconcerning Release of Information.
TurnsRelease of Information request around in the stated timeframe.
Locates paper portion of the medicalrecord when presence of that record is required outside the HIMDepartment.
Demonstrates ability to applyanalytical skills and be an independent thinker.
Has the ability to file Birth Certificates according toprocedure outlined by the State of New Mexico with a 98%accuracy.
Files Birth Certificates in the timeframe required by the State.
Files PaternityPapers in the fashion outlined by the State of NewMexico.
Demonstrates the ability to trackincomplete charts, generate reminder letters, and identify possiblesuspensions on a weekly basis.
Demonstratesthe ability to learn and adapt to change in department function,management style or routines.
