    The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) / Financial Project Controller will be responsible for commercial aspects related to projects —from the sales phase to execution to project completion. Responsibilities encompass sales controlling, performance measurement, planning, forecasting, and reporting. Why is this so important? The CPM supports the Project Manager in all other areas where a takeover of responsibilities is decided and/or a useful contribution. The CPM will partner with Customers, Suppliers, Project Managers/ Engineers, Sales, Procurement, Legal, other Commercial Project Managers, regional and national Finance colleagues, and internal and external Auditors--as well as the Siemens Financial Services Division (the Siemens entity that offers financing solutions to clients).

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Travel 20% within the Southwest Zone and Zone branches (TX, CO, UT, AZ, NV, and NM)
  • 3+ years of experience in professional financial management/project controlling of large, complex construction projects (e.g., Project Coordinator, Contract Administrator, or other similar position) or non-construction projects completed by other Siemens divisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Verbal and written skills in English
  • Proactive attitude with focus on taking ownership and driving business results
  • Ability to navigate a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and ad hoc requests
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
