Shift:
Day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm with 30-minute lunch

Enhanced hourly rate & bi-weekly, tax-exempt stipend

Paid travel to/from assignment

Job duties to include:
Conduct activity therapy to improve functioning and independence

Provide activity resources and opportunities for all patients with a focus on improving health and well-being

Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients' treatment team

Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations

Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan

Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient

Provide group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods

Qualifications


Travel Therapist Job Requirements:

Education:
Master's degree in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in associated discipline with Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification

Licensures/Certification:
Registered Art Therapist, Certified Music Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Physical Therapist, Certified Recreational Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor

Experience:
Two (2) or more years' experience providing activity therapy. Prefer minimum of two (2) years in a psychiatric setting with children, adolescents, and adult population.
