Families Free is a licensed nonprofit behavioral health provider serving Northeast Tennessee through substance use treatment, mental health services, residential programming, recovery support, and family restoration initiatives. Our work focuses on justice-involved individuals, men and women in recovery, and families working toward long-term stability. Position Overview

Families Free is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide both clinical leadership and direct therapeutic services within our Carter County programming. This role supports Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services and works closely with our residential programs, case management teams, and recovery court partners. The Clinical Coordinator maintains a therapy caseload while helping guide clinical programming, support staff, and ensure compliance with state licensing standards.

What You'll Do

Direct Clinical Services

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-informed approaches
  • Facilitate substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment groups
  • Support client stabilization through wrap-around clinical support
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Clinical Leadership & Coordination

  • Provide guidance and consultation to clinical staff
  • Assist with program development, curriculum implementation, and quality improvement
  • Coordinate care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning

Program & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to DOMHSAS licensing requirements
  • Support outcome tracking and program monitoring
  • Maintain confidentiality standards including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

Typical Schedule & Environment

  • Primarily weekday schedule with occasional flexibility based on program needs
  • Combination of office-based therapy, group facilitation, and team collaboration
  • Work across outpatient and residential settings within Carter County and nearby sites
  • Supportive team environment with regular supervision and clinical consultation

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
  • LADAC or license eligibility required
  • Experience with substance use, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain professional licensure in good standing
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to work with individuals experiencing trauma, crisis, and behavioral health needs
  • Commitment to ethical practice, teamwork, and client-centered care
