    The role you'll contribute:

    This position contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the performance of diagnostic radiology procedures upon request of the licensed practitioner and by participating in departmental monitoring and reporting procedures Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs cardiac and vascular studies on orders of licensed practitioner, performs quality echo and vascular studies, provides accurate and timely computer documentation,

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    · Checks practitioner orders as to accuracy

    · Checks with offices, floors or physician for order clarification

    · Notifies floor if patient has had Echo with past six months

    · Utilizes all safety measures provided for department and/or individual technologist

    · Always uses two types of patient identifiers (ex: name and DOB)

    · Assures proper positioning, technique, protocol for each exam
