- Preparation of drawings and specifications for fire suppression and alarm systems
- Perform engineering calculations (HASS or AutoSPRINK)
- Review and design to applicable codes and standards
- Select and properly specify fire protection equipment
- Multi-state travel to perform flow tests and site surveys to assess and verify existing conditions
- Perform construction administration
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, contractors, and all team members
- Working knowledge of AutoSPRINK (Solidworks, HydraCAD, and SprinkCAD transferrable), AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Working knowledge of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), National Electric Code (NEC), and other appropriate codes and standards
- NICET Certification is a PLUS
- Experience in REVIT, AutoCAD, 3D drafting or BIM a PLUS
- Successfully monitor project schedules, budgets, and scope of work
