    We are growing and looking for a Jig & Fixture Builder to join our team.

Our operations in Conway, Arkansas include metal stamping, forming, painting, and assembly. The facility utilizes stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process. A concept to finished products company providing parts and sub-assemblies to our customers. Approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space and 50 acres are utilized for fabrication operations.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:Constructs and repairs jigs and fixtures, with varying degrees of complexity, to be used in production operations by welding (mig/tig/arc), using drills, grinders, cutting tools and other various power and hand tools.
    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Technical expertise in welding.
    • Assists in design.
    • Assists Manufacturing in troubleshooting and resolving jig/fixture issues.
    • Constructs or repairs jigs/fixtures to ensure efficient operation. Jig/Fixtures will be of varying complexity from one or two part holds to multi part holds where tolerance locations for holes and components, heights and squareness are critical.
    • Must have working knowledge of micrometers, dial calipers, tape measures, dial indicators, drill presses, grinders, multiple hand tools, and any other shop equipment deemed necessary.
    • Instructs/Mentors trainees within the department on an as needed basis.
    Position Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Graduation from certified/registered Welding program, preferred.
    • 6+ years of related verifiable experience.
    • Work in a safe manner through the adherence of company safety policies
    • Advanced knowledge and skills within all welding disciplines.
    • Knowledgeable in clamping and Poke Yoke techniques and principles.
    • Ability to operate various powered industrial lifting equipment (forklift, hoist, etc.)
    • Frequent standing, occasional walking or sitting. Occasional using of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
    • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving heavier weights.
    • Must have good teamwork skills, meet quality requirements, be flexible, willing to work overtime when required and be able to meet and maintain performance standards.
