We are growing Looking for talented Medical Assistants
Dermatology Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical support to dermatology providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic visits
- Manage and triage incoming clinical calls, addressing urgent dermatologic concerns promptly and appropriately
- Obtain and document detailed dermatologic medical histories, including skin cancer history, medications, allergies, and treatment responses
- Initiate and accurately scribe electronic medical records during patient encounters to ensure complete and compliant documentation
- Educate patients on dermatologic diagnoses, treatment plans, medication instructions, and post-procedure care; obtain informed consent as directed
- Prepare patients for examination and procedures, including proper positioning and site preparation
- Assist providers during full skin examinations, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other in-office dermatologic procedures
- Administer local anesthetic injections per provider instruction and prepare biopsy or procedure trays using sterile technique
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and OSHA standards during all clinical procedures
- Ensure exam and procedure rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and fully stocked with dermatology-specific supplies and instruments
- Support overall clinic flow and efficiency to promote high-quality patient care
- Perform additional clinical and operational duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
- High School or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
- Dermatology Experience Required
