    Opportunity:

    Job Details:


    • Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

    • No call responsibilities required

    • Epic charting system experience required

    • 24 hours of orientation provided

    • Work in outpatient setting performing mammography procedures

    • Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, needle localization, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy

    • Operate Siemens equipment and utilize Sectra PACS system

    • Handle special procedures including SAVI Scout and biopsies

    • Process approximately 48 visits per day in 3-room facility

    • Required certifications: ARRT(M), ARRT(R), and BLS

    • Virginia State license preferred

    • Previous travel experience required

    • Must work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment (2 holidays during winter season)

    • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • Local candidates not accepted (must live more than 100 miles from facility)

The mammography department features state-of-the-art Siemens equipment and modern PACS technology to deliver high-quality breast imaging services. The facility maintains a well-equipped outpatient imaging department with multiple exam rooms and supports interdisciplinary care through various support services including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

    Christiansburg is located in the beautiful New River Valley region of Virginia, offering a perfect blend of small-town charm and outdoor recreation opportunities with the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby. The area provides excellent hiking, fishing, and recreational activities while maintaining easy access to larger metropolitan areas and Virginia Tech University.

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
