WareHQ Labs is designed to address these issues while adding operational efficiencies.We are looking for an ambitious Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing new features for the various SaaS products in the Warehousing & Logistics Industry.
The Software Engineer will be passionate about working within a team to analyze requirements, produce new features, design automated testing strategies, and establish robust infrastructure and deployment procedures.

What You'll Do
Leverage extreme programming (XP) techniques such as pair programming, test driven development, and refactoring to build robust features and sustainable software systems that meet the needs of future users
Contribute to all aspects of the software system including User Interface, Backend Services, Infrastructure, Deployment Pipeline and System Observability for production operation
Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, planning, deployments, and regular demos with team members and stakeholders
Maintain our Confluence wiki with design documents, mappings, procedures, and processes to increase knowledge share across the team
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as needed to determine requirements and ensure delivery of value add features to end users
Read, understand, and implement API documents as necessary to facilitate integrations with 3rd party systems and/or partners
Receive support from other team members to ensure collective growth of the team and software over time

Experience in Agile Development methods
Working knowledge microservice design patterns, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), and designing data schemas
Experience with User Interface frameworks (e.g. Angular, React or Vue)
Experience with Object Oriented languages and relevant frameworks for building apis (e.g. C# Web API or Java Spring Boot)
Experience with messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ), transactional databases (e.g. Postgres, SQL Server, or MySql), NoSql datastores (e.g. Mongo, DynamoDB)
Working knowledge of development tools such as Swagger, Postman, Git, Sonar, Snyk and/or equivalents
Awareness of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), Docker, and/or deployments via BitBucket Pipelines (or equivalent technologies)
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
Interest to work in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
Willing to support others to achieve overall team objectives
Willing to communicate changing needs and seek support proactively head-off obstacles
What Comes Next:
The hiring manager will review your resume and determine if we feel there is a match based on your skill set.
If there is a perceived match, we will have an initial phone interview to get acquainted with you and introduce the company.
If there is mutual interest, we will proceed with a technical interview with one or more team members, and finally a culture-based (non-technical) interview that will see if you are a match for our organization.
The culture interview is with the leadership team of WarehouseQuote Technologies and is the most scrutinized interview of the three.
