Adjunct Professor of Speech (Pool)

Job Description:
Applicants must reside in the state of Florida.

The primary purpose of this position is to teach credit courses in Speech described in the college catalog and hold office hours for students.

Other duties include attending orientation sessions, attending professional development sessions, submitting all required documentation by published deadlines, and submitting grades via Lighthouse by the deadline.

Essential Duties Summary:
1. Teaching classes

• Holding office hours for student interaction/advising
• Assessing student performance
• Preparing materials for in-class and/or e-learning instruction

Required Qualifications:

A master's degree with at least 18 graduate level semester credit hours in discipline is required for this position.

This position may also be required to teach web classes and keep class records using Lighthouse and Canvas. Computer skills are also preferred for using technology in the classroom.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ability to work flexible hours and regular attendance at work are essential functions of this position.
