Key Responsibilities

Support geotechnical and Heavy Civil Business Line projects
Perform site visits of ongoing construction work and oversee geotechnical field investigations, may require up to 30% field work
Prepare design materials for basic design assignments, including basic analysis, design calculations, equipment research, sketches, etc.
Review manufacturer's drawings with respect to B&V design criteria; mark for conformance
Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables
Plan and conduct independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
Review lower-level engineering work or assignments
Coordinate design with other personnel working on the same project to minimize design conflicts
Perform special studies or analyses of specific portions of a project; study includes research, investigation, or coordination
Coordinate with personnel in other departments and client personnel to review designs and resolve areas of concern
Supervise the engineering work of assigned Drafters, Designers, and subordinate Engineers

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience in geotechnical and/or heavy civil design projects

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements

Certifications

Active P.E. License

Hybrid Work Schedule (3 Days in Office/2 days Remote)
