    We are seeking a skilled Project Controls QS Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will play a vital role in project management by providing support in take-offs, change order reviews, invoice scrutiny, and quantity verifications.

    Additionally, this role will involve leveraging data analytics expertise to review and report on project data. This will be a long term contract with eligibility to move to direct hire.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Take-Offs and Quantity Verifications:
    Conduct detailed take-offs from engineering drawings and measure installed quantities accurately to ensure alignment with project requirements

    Change Order Reviews:
    Assist in reviewing change orders to assess their impact on project costs and schedules

    Invoice Review:
    Scrutinize invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms

    Data Analytics:
    Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze project data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights

    Reporting:
    Prepare comprehensive reports on project performance, including cost and schedule variances, productivity metrics, andforecasting

    Collaboration:
    Work closely with Engineering and Construction teams to align project controls processes with project execution activities

    Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in project controls

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
    Strong background in Engineering and Construction with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
    Proficiency in performing take-offs and measuring installed quantities accurately.
    Experience in project controls functions such as change order management and invoice review.
    Data analytics skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling complex project data.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in the petrochemical or related industry.
    Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
    Certification in project management or related field (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, CCP).#J-18808-Ljbffr
