    We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team

    The essential functions of this position while meeting or exceeding annual goals and objectives are as follows:

    • Support overall company goals / objectives to reach short term and long-term benchmarks.
    • Provide advice, insight to the company & Team and act as a subject matter expert in

    IATF:
    16949 standards, to help resolve QA / Process issues.


    Develop and maintain a clear understanding of company products with a focus on product integrity, reliability, specifications, regulatory compliance and Customer Specific Requirements per AIAG guidelines.

    Work closely with the appropriate Manufacturing personnel, Team leads, Design and M.E.

    Engineers to ensure that all manufacturing processes are repeatable, in control and work instructions are in place and being followed.

    Actively participate in the QMS internal and external audit process.

    Assist with the appropriate Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering personnel to conduct,

    develop / document Processes, Design FMEA's, utilizing the APQP process.

    Work with Purchasing to develop new, reliable supplier sources. Assist in conducting initial survey visits to evaluate potential suppliers as needed.

    Develop, implement, monitor quality standards objectives and quality control systems.

    Perform Incoming inspection, monitor temperature on molding presses and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, quality, or related field is a plus.
    • 5 or more years' experience in manufacturing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
    • Comprehensive product knowledge; features, reading drawings, application, qualifications, and functions.
    • Appropriate certifications (Certified internal or lead auditor is desired), education, and experience in manufacturing methodology.
    • Ability to effectively utilize software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and other software as needed
    • Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities.
