    Who You'll Work With:
    The individual will be responsible for supporting the reporting and servicing efforts of our Institutional Investment Management Teams.

    The individual will report to a San Antonio TX based Manager supervising a team that provides operational and reporting services and work directly with our partners in different regions to support the client needs.

    They will assist with oversite for our offshore reporting team and drive process improvement and automation initiatives to help reduce cost, mitigate risk and enhance the customer experience.


    What You'll Do:


    Ensuring exceptional servicing to our external Institutional Clients by supporting the transactions, reporting, presentation and customer inquiry needs of our internal partners and third-party firms (i.e., recordkeepers, investment managers, custodians, trustees and consultants) with whom we partner to support in our business.

    Monitor and maintain all workflows and scheduled reporting requirements.

    Utilize various internal systems and collaborate with multiple departments to obtain information needed to fulfill client reporting requests by the designated deadline.

    Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Project lead these efforts with our internal partners and execute through completion, meeting the target dates established. Validate accuracy of transactions and data provided through quality control review.

    The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    • Supervise teams responsible for:
    • The cashflows handled by the Institutional associates in North America, global institutional client reporting, guideline routings, verifying SSAE16 eligibility and distribution, communication and meetings directly with internal clients and partners as needed.
    • Improving operational efficiencies to allow for the delivery of high-quality responses and action effectively; focus on process improvement, automation, tracking and reporting.
    • Identifying opportunities to streamline the existing custom reporting and move segments of reporting to a lower-cost market &/or partner with IMO to onboard to automated reporting systems.
    • Assist Management in assessing resource requirements and lead the transition of reporting and other operational functions from Associates in NA and globally to the team.
    • Create and utilize metrics to provide statistical analysis on employee utilization, accuracy, volume and efficiency.
    • Mitigate risk to client accounts by developing, maintaining, and improving operating procedures and supporting technology.
    • Work closely with Client Group Managers to drive results towards goals and firm-wide improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure team members receive training and provide oversight on proprietary systems, policies, procedures of the department including but not limited to:
    • Cashflows, investment guidelines, client reporting and coordination with legal, compliance and risk
    • Provide opportunities for growth and career development for high-performing staff members.
    • Participate in recruiting and talent development.
    • Support the firms Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
    • Engage internal clients and partners, where necessary, to facilitate resolutions to servicing issues.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Approximately 2-5 years professional experience (this can include higher education) with a background in one of the following areas: Client Service, Financial Services, Education, General Management, Operations, Management Consulting, Project Management, Business Analysis
    • 2 to 3 years mutual fund operations, financial, sales, transaction processing, insurance or administrative recordkeeping experience.
    • 1 year of demonstrated leadership or managerial experience managing a staff of 2 or more.
    • Reporting and client servicing experience to include financial reporting, fee assessments, procedural documentation and implementation.
    • Experience in Institutional, Defined Contribution and/or recordkeeping operations is a plus.
    • Strong operational acumen, and the drive and ability to improve controls and minimize risk.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people and empower them to achieve up to their potential.
    • Proficient in the use of typical office desktop packages, such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, Visio and Access.
