Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position during the school year in Waxhaw, NC. If you are passionate about supporting students with behavioral challenges and helping them reach their full potential, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Provide direct one-on-one or small group support to students with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Collect data on student progress and behavior using behavior tracking tools
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to implement strategies for behavior management and skill acquisition
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with other members of the educational team
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
