    Job Specific Role Expectations

    • Verify move ticket, quantity, and required packaging/labels and prepare (shrink-wrap, band, etc.) for shipment meeting timeframe and specified requirements in accordance to SOPs. Prepare load sheet/pick list and submit to Shipper/Receiver for processing in accordance with SOPs meeting timeframe requirements.
    • Ensure the bill of lading from incoming shipments matches the physical product delivered (and purchase order if available) within timeframe requirements. Resolve discrepancies with shipper to customer satisfaction within time frame.
    • Verify subcontractor shipments are from approved subcontractors within timeframe requirements. If approved, print move ticket and transport to shipping for processing in a timely manner. If unapproved, place shipment on hold and submit samples to the Quality Department for review in a timely manner.
    • When products come to staged areas, place products in proper storage areas in a timely manner.
    • Transport items from pick list to proper floor locations for preparation for shipment and submit pick list to the Shipping/Receiving Manager meeting timeframe requirements.
    • Self directed after handoff from first shift due to no second shift supervisor.
    • Direct lower rated associates during shift due to no second shift supervisor.
    • Obtain a CDL license. Training will be paid for by New Standard but training must be done on Associate's own time.
    • Contact carriers if needed on an emergency basis (NS will provide contact list) to prevent customer shortages that may be determined during off shift.
    • Work overtime as required to complete tasks prior to leaving.
    • Learn computer functions to support off shift activities when needed (create shipping bills, print pick lists, create out plant paperwork.
    • Inventory management – determine overstocking situations and where to send that product for storage; investigate/correct discrepancies, parts kitting.

    Work Environment:

    • Walking, bending, standing, carrying product, reaching overhead and heavy lifting required
