    The Opportunity

    The Sr. Director Global Supply Chain is responsible to ensure customer's expectations are met in an efficient manner for Electrophysiology. This is achieved through: -Leading and directing the Distribution Organization including global freight and logistics process-modelling, negotiations, spend; -Leading the Divisional Planning organization for successful lifecycle management of products; -Managing TPM activities-contracts, supply planning; -Leading Divisional strategic sourcing activities; -Ensuring compliance with all Abbott corporate and local Quality, Financial, Regulatory, Purchasing, EHS policies and regulations; -Working collaboratively together with Commercial and Demand Planning to ensure successful inventory planning and management;

    What You'll Work On

    • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
    • Responsible for compliance and applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
    • Lead distribution for EP Divisional sales greater than $500MM and ensure world-class customer service. Manage Divisional inventory and obsolescence budgets to hit LRP.
    • Lead Divisional capacity planning and plant loading process-short and long term.
    • Manage all compliance related areas for hazardous materials, REACH, duty, etc.
    • Ensure purchasing and financial compliance with all inventory and non-inventory spend for the Division. Ensure quality compliance.
    • Manage TPM contracts and supply planning for EP.
    • Participate with Commercial organization on product lifecycle management and product rationalization programs.
    • Responsible for distribution and customer service level of 99.5% for all EP products worldwide, with a sales value greater than $500mm -Leadership of all supply chain role in 2 countries. -Negotiation support to Manufacturing Ops on +$50MM spend;
    • Manages Divisional inventory; Role has significant impact and visibility on the company's operations, revenues, and strategic direction.
    • Must be articulate and able to communicate effectively with Corporate officers, DVPs, directors, managers and employees across the corporation.
    • The incumbent must influence decisions made by other functional groups and business franchises.
    • In addition, the position requires prior leadership experience involving multi-disciplinary organizations across functional team.
    • This position is highly independent and receives periodic/minimal direction from Divisional leaders; demonstrated appropriate level of leadership experience to lead with and without authority; will interact frequently with Division management with executive responsibility and therefore requires high levels of competence, confidence and credibility.
    • Strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data this individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • 10+ years related work experience
    • Proven leadership within the Supply organization
    • Experience at leading large organizations; -Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional activities

    The base pay for this position is $184,000.00 – $368, In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
