Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer with expertise in Juniper leaf switches and JunOS upgrades to assist our client in their software and hardware upgrades and migrations.

This person should have a strong background in Juniper (preferably JNCIA or higher), an ability to create methods of procedure to be followed, and have a in-depth knowledge of BGP and cloud provider connections.

This candidate will spend the 6-8 weeks familiarizing themselves with the environment, then begin to create the technical documentation. The first upgrade is projected to begin in August. The project is expected to last 1 to 1.5 years with the potential to extend.

Skills and Requirements

Hands-on experience with configurations and upgrades of Juniper

JNCIA certified

Demonstrated experience creating MOPs for upgrades and migrations

Thorough working knowledge of BGP Routing protocol

Experience with VXLAN and VPN for cloud deployments

Comfortability with some maintenance window work - Local to Atlanta, New Jersey, Maryland, or New Jersey (On-Site not required, but ability to meet team in person highly preferred).
