- Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents for commercial real estate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing contracts, and joint venture agreements.
- Oversee due diligence processes, including reviewing title, surveys, and zoning compliance, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Coordinate and lead transaction closings, ensuring smooth execution by collaborating with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
- Advise clients on strategies for real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
- Structure deals effectively and manage complex negotiations to achieve client objectives.
- Provide guidance on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to real estate projects.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver tailored solutions for sophisticated real estate matters.
- Stay informed about industry trends and local market dynamics to offer strategic advice.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, ensuring high-quality results.
- Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
- 4+ years of experience in transactional real estate, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Strong expertise in commercial real estate law, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures.
