    Newsom Eye, founded by T. Hunter Newsom, MD, is a leading multi-specialty eye care practice located in Sebring, FL.

    The practice offers comprehensive eye care services, including routine eye exams, Newsom Eye Custom LASIK, adjustable cataract surgery, cornea, glaucoma and retina treatment, and optical services.

    All surgical procedures are performed in state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery centers that hold Medicare deemed status through accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

    Role Description
    This is a full-time on-site role for a Glaucoma/Refractive Surgeon at Newsom Eye in Sebring, FL. The Glaucoma/Refractive Surgeon will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to diagnosing and treating glaucoma and performing refractive surgeries.

    The surgeon will work closely with other physicians and surgeons, utilizing the most advanced research facilities and technology to ensure top-quality patient care.

    Qualifications
    Experience and expertise in Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, and Refractive Surgery
    Strong surgical skills in performing glaucoma surgeries and refractive surgeries
    Knowledge of techniques and treatments for glaucoma management
    Experience in utilizing advanced research facilities and technology
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Board certification in Ophthalmology or eligible for board certification
    Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
