Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate: $ $35.00/hr.

Location: Ceres, CA *No relocation offered

Job purpose:

Working alongside senior engineers, the Electrical Drafter/Technician is responsible for designing, assembling, and documenting electrical systems. This includes creating diagrams, organizing files, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems and creating diagrams under senior engineers' guidance.
• Maintaining good communication between engineering and manufacturing departments.
• Keeping track of revisions and machine codes for easy access.
• Managing project files and ensuring software is up-to-date.
• Providing accurate information to both customers and colleagues.
• Following instructions carefully and meeting production goals.
• Handling daily operations and managing documents.
• Actively participating in electrical engineering projects, including wiring and troubleshooting.
• Assisting production personnel with wiring and control panel assembly.
• Generating prints for other departments when requested.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a technical field.
• At least four years of experience with PLCs, Servos, VFDs, HMI, and other electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex wiring systems.
• Strong teamwork, organizational, and planning skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with CAD applications, particularly AutoCAD Electrical.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
