    Basic Function:

    This position is responsible for promoting John Deere, Wirtgen and Ditch Witch equipment and Allied product rentals. As the Rental Market Development Representative, you will assist customers with equipment recommendations and technology advancements that enable greater productivity. You will assure all equipment deliveries meet the conditions of the rental agreement and monitor customer satisfaction with products.

    SALES Responsibilities
    • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision; capable of developing objectives, setting priorities, and implementing ideas in a timely manner.
    • High mechanical aptitude required; must understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for suggestion appropriate products to customers.
    • Assists in collecting on unpaid invoices in assisting Accounts Receivables to reduce outstanding payments.
    • Maintains and enhances current customer relationships while creating new client relationships through excellent customer focus and attending to their equipment needs and business requirements.
    • Provides excellent customer satisfaction experiences and demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
    • Proves one's ability to service existing customers with periodic scheduled visits, and effectively prospect potential new customers, which provides evidence to take on larger sales representative responsibilities over a time deemed reasonable by sales management.
    • Engages in continuous training in regards to always learning more about John Deere, Wirtgen, Vogele, Kleemann online classes and other opportunities to expand knowledge to help customers.
    MARKETING Responsibilities
    • Assists Rental Sale Manager(s) with various tasks related to sales and marketing, as assigned.
    • Inputs contact information for advertising, promotional programs, and customer retention for Rentals.
    • Assists with lead generation campaigns, including mailers and other marketing items.
    • Performs trade-in evaluations for used equipment.
    • Works closely with the Rental Manager and Order Fulfillment department as necessary.
    • Tracks bids
    • Provides assistance with all correspondence related to marketing programs in effect and for future programs to solicit business.
    • Conduct surveys and send thank you letters to customers after sold machines are delivered.
    • Revise, maintain, optimize, and analyze the JESCO website to keep current information and updates available for employees and clients.
    • Assist with all company-sponsored events including but not limited to Open House events, customer dinners and other events to develop lasting customer relationships.
    • Provides production assistance in the creation of brochures, flyers, and direct mail campaigns as well as information displays.
    Requirements
    • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license required.
    • Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
    • Willing to travel and work hours required by the job and customer demand.
