Description
The Zhenqi Liu Lab at the University of Virginia's School of Medicine is looking for candidates to join as Laboratory and Research Technicians in various positions. This lab specializes in studying insulin action and energy metabolism in different research models such as cultured cells, rodent models, and human subjects.
The primary role will be to manage the daily operations of the lab under Dr. Liu's supervision. Responsibilities include tasks like cell isolation, Western blotting, tissue and cell culture, cloning, PCR, and supporting routine experiments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role may involve long periods of standing and squatting during experiments or animal care. It requires keyboarding, bench work, and animal procedures.
