Job summary
This job involves working in environmental health through education surveillance consultation inspection and enforcement of state local and federal laws regulationsResponsibilities include educating the public inspecting providing advice on correcting environmental problems enforcing state local and federal laws relating to environment
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of environmental health laws rules procedures epidemiology chemistry biology food science microbiology soil science entomology basic engineering technology inspection methods investigation techniques
Duties may include conducting inspections visiting sites determining facilities being constructed according to approved plans approving altered plans setting up computer applications writing permits sending letters completing forms maintaining records performing related duties as required.
