    Join Our Team as a Civil Rights Employment Investigator/Specialist!



    Are you passionate about ensuring equal employment opportunities for everyone? We are seeking a Program Specialist VI to join our team and make a difference.



    Job Description:
    • Plan, develop, and administer employment discrimination charges and complaints
    • Provide technical assistance on civil rights matters
    • Coordinate, consult, and mentor civil rights staff
    • Identify and recommend improvements for programs and policies
    • Lead special projects, serve as a mediator, and prepare resolution agreements
    • Develop schedules and priorities for achieving quality in employment discrimination charges
    • Provide leadership and direction on civil rights issues
    • Investigate discrimination charges and prepare position statements


    Essential Job Functions:
    • Conduct advanced research, analysis, and evaluation on civil rights employment cases
    • Monitor performance reports and recommend changes
    • Develop and manage projects related to civil rights initiatives
    • Provide leadership to staff on civil rights assignments and projects
    • Conduct civil rights training and oversee investigations
    • Monitor legislation and recommend appropriate responses


    Knowledge Skills Abilities:
    • Knowledge of civil rights laws and regulations
    • Skills in program evaluation, research, and analysis
    • Ability to develop policies and procedures, manage projects, and communicate effectively
